By fostering a collaborative environment that includes a research director, coordinators, fellows, residents, and students, we aim to drive the discovery and development of novel therapeutics and medical devices. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our robust portfolio of both internal studies and external collaborations with leading research entities and industry innovators. Through these efforts, we strive to transform patient care and enhance clinical outcomes globally.

CITI training

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) offers a variety of online courses designed to educate participants on key ethical and regulatory issues in research. It covers essential topics needed for compliance in research settings, particularly for those involved with human subjects and animal research. All WSUSOM students interested in participating in research should complete this training.

Any PI or key personnel who is affiliated with WSU or a WSU-affiliated institution, The Detroit Medical Center (DMC), Karmanos Cancer Institute (KCI), and John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) must complete the modules assigned by WSU.
