Narrative Bio

Dr. Zestos earned her medical degree from John Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed anher anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She then completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

She is currently a Chief of Anesthesiology and Director of Anesthesia Research for Wayne State University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include pediatric cardiac anesthesia and resident education. Her research interests are postoperative nausea, postoperative pain, and emergence delirium.
